Waffle ponys

I always heard a rumor that the very first few Sn95 Mustangs made had 4-lug suspension. I always wrote it off, but then i saw a picture of a 1994 Mustang with 4-lug Fox pony wheels on it.

So who knows.

I don't think I've seen 4 lug Waffles in OEM form. But I'm not at-all up on that kind of stuff.

Those are the standard 16" 5-lug 5-star wheels that come on 96-98 GTs?

They came on 5N95's (94-95's) as well, AFAIK. Additionally, the car Mike thumbnailed is a 5N95.

Those are Fox Ponies. Not SN95 Ponies.

Strange. Maybe the police ordered some cars with special 5 lug Fox Ponies...

I also have a set of the 94-95 style tri spoke wheels that are 17" but they are 5 lug and on my 90 gt, and they are very hard to find ! how much do you think a set of the 4 lug "waffle" ponys wheels are worth ?

The police car above, I believe was a prototype car, and I am almost sure no SN95s were sold to the public sporting 4 lugs.

As for the 4 lug waffles, maybe someone had the center section filled and redrilled? They look identicle to the 5-lug versions, only with 4 lugs very odly placed in a space for 5. Weird
