I think so too, and I've got a vert. I prefer the coupe--much classier styling.

I have a 2001 gt vert and don't think it lost it's style as much as the 2005 will.

each to his or her own opinion...I think it looks just as good or bad as any other vert with the top up...the current Mustang looks no better or worst than the 2005 with the top up.

It'll look a lot better with the top down and with a normal paint job. And no wing, please.

there was a spy shot of a mule all dressed up like that in june's motor trend with a little blurb in the news section or something. didn't say anything we don't know though. I liked what i saw in that picture, the top was up there too though. I've always thought the coupe looks tons better than the vert on the current model... but i think for some reason it'll suit the 2005 better, don't ask me why though. i'll have to see it in person.

I don't like the look of any verts with the tops up. thats why I dont like em. They are only nice with the top down.

On the current mustang verts.... does that little window behind the passanger window go down? or is it removalble?

does that mean it automatically goes down when the top is lowered or can it be over-rided to be left up?

Its a power window as stated b4. Its just like your front 2 windows they can be rolled up or down w/ top up or down. O and on the show American Icons that was TLC 2night it showed a CAD Image of the 05 Mustang Vert.

Tonight on the Travel Channel they did a show about convertibles, which was really great, because they talked a lot, and I mean A LOT about Mustangs. Anyway they were at Ford, and they interviewed some of the people there that designed the 05 Mustang. In the back ground they had this virtual 05 Mustang convertible on a huge screen with the top down. From what I saw it looked awesome.

I too think it will look fabulous and I can't wait to get one (sometime betweem Spring 2005 - spring 2006) I may wait to see what they will offer in 2006 before I commit to one.

is it just me or does that top look EXACTLY like a SN95 top?

I wonder if they just slapped that top on the mule for testing.... i hope that the production vert top has the hardtop's lines, or at least close to it....

I dont really care, i dig it, where do i sign?

I like the looks of convertibles no matter what, whether the top is left up or if the top is left down. A mustang is a thing of beauty no matter what the case is.
