going to look at a fox weds night besides for the normal rust spots, leaks of any , suspension woes, trans grinding any tips or things you guys think i should look out for? here is said car btw 93 5.0 mustang

car looks clean I would have cash in pocket and be driving home another fox!

Look for rust in the lower quarters, the hatch, and underneath the battery (you'll have to crawl under it to see). Also look below the seat bolts to see if the floor pans are tearing from the lack of support.

That's super cheap for a car with low miles.

this i definitely know im glad you said something about the battery tray because that one i didn't know, i am definitely going with cash, from what i understand the car was a florida car and was brought here about 10 yrs ago and the owner has had it a year and is losing his place to keep it . i will repost with what happens weds. night , the guy said slight neg so if i can "steal" it for 35 i will and then sell my 00 for 5k -55 and then the good stuff will begin . wish me luck guys

also look at the bottom of the doors, they get clogged with dirt and leaves and water sits and will rust. but that car looks really nice. looks like a nice ,clean fox to have alot of fun with. 4k is a good price

Check for rust where the shock towers meet the frame rails.

thanks man one of the most common missed places that no one thinks of . 24 hours to go ... hopefully tomorrow il be posting pics

took it home couldnt pass it up paid 3600, trans shifts great interior is like new console door even works, needs minor stuff like brakes rotors tie rods just little crap, shifts great, will get some pics up no rust anywhere paint looks real good car may have been sprayed at one point but like i said looks real good just needs a good rub... so next is to sell my 00 and let the fun begin..
