Any trick to installing the door run channel weather stripping?

Are you talking about the rubber running around the door frame?????????

I'm about to undertake this job also but sometime during this weekend.

I called a Stang mechanic in my neighbourhood and he explained it as such.

1. Un screw the 4 screws holding the plastic door sill in place on the bottom and remove.
2. Carefully remove the overhead black door trim running from the a-pillar to the rear vertical quarter window pillar. No screws. It's held in by clips. Be very carefull when tugging on it or you could bend or warp it!!!!!
3. 3 screws hold the a-pillar in place. Unscrew them all and remove the a-pillar.
4. The lower kick panel is held in by clips also. As it's flimsy plastic you can leave it on and just slip the rubber under it. If it pops out, just push in back in.
5. The rear vertical pillar has 2 screws and the seatbelt pulley bolt. My Stand mech says all you need to do is remove the 2 screws and you should have ample room to squeeze the rubber in the space.

Hope this helps some.
