Roush Any Tricks to Placing a 99-04 Saleen Speedster Cover On

I have an Authentic Saleen Speedster Cover for a 99-04 Saleen Bodystyle that didn't come with the car originally that seems like its near impossible to get it on and in place with the Light Bar being in the way, etc... Is there any tricks to putting this Cover on?? I've been hesitant to paint it due to this fact and have fear of scratching the paint all up on both the cover and the Black Convertible Trim!! Should I be able to put the cover on by myself, like Robert can do on his 98 S351 Speedster?? Any advice here would help!

There are different tonneau covers depending on whether you have the light bar or not... You may have the wrong one for the non-light bar cars...

I know with my '98 the fit of the tonneau around the light bar is pretty tight but once you get it positioned properly it drops right in. Removal is just the reverse.

When I first purchased the car getting the tonneau off & on was a bit tricky the first couple of attempts but now I don't have any problems with it.

However, I still need a 2nd person to assist me in lifting it on & off the car to prevent it from being dropped. I guess Robert's a tall enough guy he can do it himself.
