I feel like maybe my car is pulling timing up top because it just doesnt feel like it pulls to redline like it did when I bought the car. Also, the air pump is bad so when we had it on the scanner looking at codes we looked at the 02's and they were staying in the .4's and not walking, so we know its running lean for some reason. I replaced the MAF and it still doing it. So do you think that since its running lean that its detonating and pulling timing? I would like to get this figured out because I know its hurting performance.

is the car Stock ?? check the Air-Filter,clean the MAF(with alcohol). also what might help. replace your spark plugs , i went with AutoLite double platinum. gapd 0.54. and get some Lucas Performance(fuel/injector cleaner. those things should help you pull all the way to REDLINE with no probs. let me know if you need any further info or questions

stock with exhaust. New fuel fitler, new ngk plugs, plug wires, 3 bottles of techron fuel injector cleaner in a row, and a new MAF. Maybe Im just getting use to it. I cant wait to get my 4.30's in.
