I helped my buddy build just such an animal. It uses an EFI Spyder manifold which is basically a modified Victor Jr. The injectors are 36 lb/hr, and the distributor is a TFI unit from a Lightning IIRC or any other 351 EFI application....hmm, I can ask him tomorrow if you want. It has a 86mm throttle body (larger than really necessary) and a 77mm ProM mass air and the computer (ECM) is a stock Mustang unit from a 93 5.0 with a tweaker chip that we use the laptop to tune.
The engine is in his 93 coupe and with the edelbrock Victor heads a Lunati roller cam (don't know specs off hand) it propells the vehicle to 11.4-5 quarter mile times at about 118-119mph. We are currently testing and tuning this car and it keeps getting better.
