Anybody got Flatout for PC

I got it today and it keeps locking up and **** its pissing me off anybody have it and have any problems with it or know what teh ****s going on with mine

i had the game when it first came out.

didnt have any problems with it tho.

it was a pretty cool game. took a few tries to get used to the drifting but after a while when you get used to it. having to drive in the town tracks was a pain in the ass and then i stopped playing it.

i might pick it up again now that you mention it.

I don't know I installed it 3 times this last time seems to be "better" but its still locking up. Its pretty damn fun when it works

try looking for a upgrade patch?????

it says its supposed to fix some game crashes with some drivers.

that made it worse now when i try and play it pops up and says it can't open the display mode whatever the **** that means

i just "got" the game again and it came with the patch.

Try updating your video card drivers. I like to use Omega's drivers www.omegadrivers.net

If none of this works today maybe i can get the gf and we will take it back and i'll get another one. How did it install for you guys? Mine installed really slow never had anything take that long wondering if something is screwed up on the disk

ok first off that patch is for the european version of teh game and is not suppose to be used or ours

second- i have a turtle beach santa cruz sound card whice is "unsupported"

Is there anyway around a unsupported sound card besides changing it? That cost me a good deal extra having that put in my pc when it was built for the extra bells and whistles it has
