What engine is it for? I can't equate the part nubmer to anything meaningful. Just throwing out a part number isn't enough. Need more info to maybe help.

I know which ones you're talking about...the L2249N or NF...10cc dome 289/302 pistons

...start looking on ebay, I see sets of them go all the time for around $150

I just looked on ebay, there's none up for auction right now, but I usually see about one or two sets a month go on there

Since they are out of production and may be hard to find, what about other piston options? KB Silvolite makes both hyper and forged dome pistons as do many other companies.

You only need 1 piston? that may make it extra tough to find one. Most likely someone will have 8 and it'd be crazy to break up the set.

Yeah i know, so now i am thinking about buying a whole set of new pistons, but i dont want to fork out 500 bucks for a good set of them. I was hoping that somebody would be in the same situation that i am in, and would like to get rid of his left over pistons. Owell, i guess i just will have to be patient and not worry about getting it back together this summer. Such is life.

I have 6 speed pro forged pistons, .030 over, but I'd have to check the part number to make sure they are the same before saying yes. I will look when I get home tonight from work.

I can't find any part numbers.... All I know is it is a Forged Flat top with 4 valve relieves in it. .030 over in size. They are the forged pistons that come with the Summit Rebuild Kit w/ forged pistons. Let me know and it's yours, just pay shipping of 100 dollars......

lmao... j/k.. This isn't Ebay.
