I need to find the wires for the backup lights, and for the neutral safety switch, so if anyone has the pinout for the AOD harness, can ya help me out?
Ok so there's 2 plugs by the trans, one plugs into the trans and i'm assuming the other one is the power wire that, once the neutral safety switch is closed, powers the starter? I've also been hearing that the other switch is supposed to be for the cruise control though, so i'm not sure.
Ok so here's what i've come up with so far.
There's the 1 wire harness that goes from the 4 pin connector on the trans to another harness which has another 2 pin connector on it.
I've identified the 6 wire colors as follows,
Red w/ blue stripe
Black w/ purple stripe
Purple w/ orange stripe
White w/ pink stripe
Orange w/ yellow stripe
Green w/ white stripe.
After checking out the site given to me by tbovee n reading the pinouts i've come to the conclusion that the white w/ pink stripe is going to the switch and the red/ light blue is the return wire.
What are the other 4 wires for though? I need to know which two are for the back up lights, and i'm curious as to what the other two are for.
