Im trying to get an idea on how much room im going have to work with. Also is there any way to keep your cruize control? If they made 90mm tb's for us i would fabricate my own elbow but i think 75mm is the biggest.

Update if anybody cares: I just ordered the last part of my rotating assymbly (Aluminum Mcleod Twin Disc Clutch/ flywheel Rated up to 1400 hp

I now have the dart sportsman block, eagle forged 408 crank, eagle forged rods, my custom 4 1/8 bore Ross pistons, and mcleod twin disc clutch/flywheel and powerbond balancer and all h series bearings. As soon as the heads the clutch gets here its going to the balance shop.

The machine work on the block is also finished. Im about ready to order the heads next week... (Jegs/Kaase).

By december i should be ready to order the YSi-Trim and the CHP Spider intake.

Then comes all the other goodies... injectors, MAF, radiator, TB etc, etc, etc...

what kinda info you looking for? The biggest issue you have, or I had, is making the turn out of the TB...My 93 Cobra is 2-3" longer due to the EGR passage..that pushed the TB closer to the shock tower....hence I run a CL inlet tube for the sharper sweep I needed to clear the tower....most other intake have no EGR passage in the intake snout so that should be cool...
Don't know the dim's on the Spyder though..

is there anyway to keep the Cruize? Will i need a tb spacer for any reason? Im going to have to fab a piece from the blower to the intake so im just trying to see how close everybody is running the tube to the shock tower...

You have any pics? or a website i can see ?

Cruise...Don't run it...it can and has been done though...Keep searching...

Only type of a spacer you need for the TB is a EGR delete...it only 1/2" thick..

My CL runs like 1/4" away...as I said mine has a longer snout...most seem to run more of a 45 deg off the TB to connect the CAI..I actually bought 3.5" exhaust tubing...a 90/45/straight and fabbed from there...using the CL was easier as making the turn in one pc was a chore I never finished...its 1/2 done though...

How's this for close....you should have a good 2-3" more...

What VCs you gonna run??? Keep that in mind too....unless the Spyder has the height?

The valve covers are going to be jegs because the kaase heads take special ones.. I should be ok.. but we will find out.. This setup will have tons of fabrication but im actually looking forward to it.

What can you tell me about wiring everything up?

I'm going to cut the linkage off of my stocker and weld it to the fox one. I had fabed up an explorer/fox with a 94-95 linkage and it worked just fine.

A fox 5.0 cruise control cable is a DIRECT swap. Very easy to do. Should find one at any junkyard. That plate in the picture posted by Rio is what you need to attach the fox throttle bracket on there. You can get it at UPR.

This is what you send me Andy, and it worked wonderfully!
TPS wiring...
SN95........TO...........FOX

RED/GRAY..............BLACK......(Pos)
GRAY/WHITE..........GREEN......(Neg)
BROWN/WHITE........ORANGE

To set your TPS voltage use the above...Pos/Neg connections....You should be all set...

I don't run cruise either as the cruise adapter hit my taller VCs and I had to cut it so I could push the accelerator in.

What are all those lines coming out of the thing that says "N" and look as though they are injecting something into the CAI?

I had won the auction for it but after i talked to the guy who had it i found out a bunch of stuff that was not mentioned in the auction. Like it was missing sleeves and maincaps and there were a few other problems.

The machine work to get it right would have pushed me over the price of a new one that didn't have problems.

I had also talked to the place were ford has them manufactured at, and the guy there said that there were a number of unfinished blocks like that that came up missing.

So i declined to pay for it, even though it was ONLY (sarcasm) like 1600 bucks (1/2 price). It was not as stated.
