I hate this crappy prop rod. The chromed prop rods are almost worse. Cars with hydraulic lifters just look much better and you don't have to work around the prop rod. Here's two websites I've found either selling them or installing them:

http://www.mustangcentral.net/tech/hoodlifters.html

http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/headline.asp?hid=F20AA1717

Has anybody installed these? I'm interested in the price of the Interactive Systems units and if the install was difficult. Looks pretty simple.

See http://www.redlinetuning.com/
The kit price was cheaper than struts alone at Autozone, and they work great. You can download and review the installation instructions in advance. you will need a heavy duty pop rivet tool.

I can send you pics (i've exceeded my attachment quota, so can't post here).

I have them on my car. One of the best things I've ever done. Installation wasn't difficult just measure twice before drilling.

Both of those links did not work for me.

Tom- Which ones do you have. How much were they? Do you need a rivet tool to install them? Thanks.

I have the interactive setup. They were around $80 from Mustangs Unlimited. No rivets they use sheetmetal screws which I swapped out for stainless.
