That one doesn't appear to have been a race car.

From the above site:

Throughout the late 60's, Terlingua Racing Team badges appeared on more and more cars. Some "officially," many not. Suffice to say Neale and the others didn't really mind. In fact they enjoyed the fun and fueled the mystique.

Did you all notice the 50's 'vette in the background? And the '69/'70 Mustang?

I do not know much about the original Terlingua Mustangs.
I do know that Dallas Mustangs is currently building new Terlingua clone/tribute cars.
They are using the FRPP 347c.i./450hp engine in their cars.
Big $$$$.

I don't suppose there is a '56 Ford Big Job cabover back there anywhere, is there? Thunderbolt? '71 Hemi Cuda 'vert?

I see the blue '55(?) 'bird, the '78-'79 'bird and the '71-'73 Mach I. Looks like a 30's-40's truck up near the trailerhouse. It looks like the Galaxie is just on the other side of the 'vette with the wood pile between? Whats' the baby blue car on the other side of the red/silver van?

Theres about 10 acres of ground to cover and these were just a few.

Rumor has it theres a HEMI car and a Winged car back there someplace, I only coverd the easy spots.

I have pics of a Fairlane GTS?

All the pics I have shown are cars with all original parts, nothing has changed on them.

Damn!!!

Wow, what a collection!

The only real Terrelingua Mustangs I know of are the 1967 Shelby Trans-Am Team racing cars, 67 Coupes, Orange and Black. No official street cars of any sort. Probably just like above, just a GT with the decal.

Man, that 427 Galaxie is an eye-opener! Bag that instead, it's worth Tons!

Holy rusted metal, Batman!

I'd soil myself if I found a yard like that. It's a shame to see them rotting away in the weather like that, though.

In my fantasy... the owner that lives in the trailer is pissed that Pappy's last will only left her with these old junk cars and she wants to unload them to make bus fare to Californey to pursue her supermodel career.
