i did the t5 conversion a while back in my 65 coupe. and because of cost i went with the cable clutch but im interested in converting it to hyd. now. i was curious if anybody had taken a setup from a fox body and was able to make it work on our cars?

I have just started to assemble my own hydraulic clutch setup but I still have my original 3 speed so I am using a Wildwood 'Pull' style slave cylinder to pull on my clutch fork instead of the 'push' type you will most likely need.

I am using the link posted above as my guide and so far it doesn't look like this should be too difficult. (hopefully i haven't spoken too soon)

If I run into any hiccups i'll be sure to let you know. I'm hoping to be back on the road by the end of next weekend.

Has anyone done a successful hydraulic swap using the original bellhousing?

I also have a PDF that details using 300zx components to make a hydrolic setup work.

There shouldn't be any problem with using the original bell housing. You can see my hydro clutch set up on my crappy webpage. http://webpages.acs.ttu.edu/jikelly/

I've been thinking about moving to a hyd throwout bearing, but haven't yet. I hear they are a pain to bleed.
