anybody put a 79-93 fox or gmv brake booster &master cyl on a 65 66 l

iwas wantin to use the 79-93 mustang booster &master cyl . or a gmv on a 65 . ihave granada front disc .i have some info. that says u can use the granada style but u need a threaded booster rod because its 3/4'' to short . ive never heard of this were could u get 1 ..i also saw a article on using the 79-93 but they were talkin at the same time a bout a 67-68 so im not real clear on it.. anybody got any good info?? thanks

For about $300-$400 you can get a booster/MC assembly that's all new and ready to install.

that's a lot different than bolting on a $20 booster.

my research says it'll work fine, as will the 2.3 booster...
