I will be running Trick Flow Valve Covers with a 94-95 Cobra intake and was wondering what size intake spacer you had to use for the EGR ear to clear and did you still have to grind it with the spacer?
Not I, but I do have the TFS Street intake. I'm assuming the geometry is similar. I had to use a 3/8" spacer. If I did not use it the bottom of the EGR (by the bolts) would hit the valve covers. I did grind it some and then I bought a spacer, (easier). You might have to do both.
A 3/8" spacer fit with the stock hood and TFS intake. Also I had to extend the EGR pipe which goes to the header.
