I just saw this in the newest issue of 5.0 and am kinda interested in it, I just would like to see it installed.

no from the looks of it, your heater gauges get bumped to the bottom, and the radio up to the top where the current heater gauges are.. it looks pretty cool! id do it!! the thing is, is there enough room behind where the hvac controls are to house a radio?

Can't see the second link there, but yeah that's it in the first link. Now that I see it installed, I don't think I like it as much, not as clean as I thought it would look.

HoweverI do like his plate that keeps the radio in the stock place and has provisions for 3 guauges beneath it. This one:

I just got the one with the radio up top and has three gauges under, it look like its gonna be a nice setup, i'll take a pic of it.

I have the one at the top left. I kept my heater controls where it is stock and was able to mount 3 gauges under the radio. Kind of subtle that way.

Yep, that's it, I like it. Are those gauges angled toward the driver? Is that something you did or is that how the plate comes?

Yeah. I bought a set of autometer gauge angle bezels from summitt. It makes a world of difference. You do have to modify the plate a little to use the angle rings but its not hard.

Yep thats the same one i've got. I like it better with the gauges angled, looks good.

I like the install, but how the hell can you see that while driving? I put mine in the a/c vents, and im still contemplating getting the rings to help a little.. i couldnt imagine having those that low.
