I was curious if anyone has changed the stock two lights on the hatchback into an LED lighted one, kinda like the scion tc, but all the lights worked, and maybe pressure sensitive
You should be able to put any LED into the brake lights that you want. The issue is with the turn signals. LEDs don't draw enough current to make a normal flasher work. You have to replace your normal flasher with a Tridon EL-12 electro-mechanical flasher. They're around 10 bucks whereever fine auto parts are sold.
Unless you use a LED board, the lights will actually be slightly dimmer. LED's really only work well as direct projection lights. If you notice cars with OEM LED taillights and brake lights, they use an array of LED's that project outwards. Sticking them into a reflector housing doesn't really work that well as the light does not spread like an incandescent bulb.
However, taking a stock 3rd brake light and possibly wiring in an LED board sounds like a fun project. All you would need is 12V.

Bright enough to see with, but the incandescent bulb was a little brighter. LEDs just don't reflect well...they need to be pointed out directly. Why LED boards are the way to go. The above site does sell them

This is bad info and I applogize. I thought I researched this enough to recommend the Tridon EL-12 for LEDs but I shouldn't have. I bought one for a small LED project I'm working on and it refuses to flash with a medium LED load (24 LEDs). I thought maybe the flasher was bad so I went to put it in my F-150 that I use to tow a landscaping trailer around with. When I pulled the heavy duty flasher out of my truck it was a Tridon EL-12 flasher. Now I have 2 of them.
