it might just be that its a 331 kit but the block is the stock bore. I think the 331 assumes a .30 overbore.

No - the 332 (most call it a 331) is a 4.03" bore X 3.25" stroke. Without the overbore (4.00" X 3.25") you get 327 cubes as Kumm3 stated. The 325's are a 4.03" bore (.030" over) with a 3.18" stroker crank. Another guy posted here or on the Corral about having built one because he got a really good deal on the stroker kit -- seems like the stroker crank, 5.4" rods and forged pistons for around $900. Not sure where he sourced it; can't remember if the crank was forged or cast.

edit - in fact, maybe it was Superstang that posted....

3.18" stroke sounds like it might be an offset ground stock crank.

there was also a 317 kit that used to be offered, cannot recall who sold it, or if it was a stock bore or an overbore.......

I seem to recall the post indicating he bought it all together as a stroker kit -- got the impression it was an aftermarket crank - but I'm simply not sure. What would a machine shop charge to offset grind a stocker? Wouldn't that require changes to the rods as well?

Yeah Michael and friends it was me that you refer to up top!!! My kit consists of an Eagle 4340 Forged Crank, Eagle Forged H-beam Rods, and Forged SRP Pistons. I purchased the entire stroker kit as a "KIT" for $899 then I had it extrnally balanced for $200 so all together it cost me $1099 for a fully forged kit! I think it is a great deal. I just wanted to know if anyone else had one. You know I feel pretty good knowing that this is one of a kind or at least very rare. It's fun to tell people it is a 325 Stroker and see the look on their face.

Well I would love to be able to answer this question 100% but here is the problem. I live in crappy ass Michigan where there is snow. So unfortunately I don't know how it runs on the street but here is what I do know. I just got done building it with my brother-in law a few weeks ago and he has a 40X80 pole barn so we had some room to play . It sounds EXCELLENT and totally roasts the street tires I had on it!!! we played with dropping it to the floor in the pole barn and it just roasts the street tires we did this a few times until I went sideways and almost hit the lift forks!! Well that was enough of that. So unfortunatley I have to wait for spring time!!!!
