No but I can tell you this, my 18's have affected my "get up and go" compaired to my 16's. I need more power.....So if your thinking of going that big it will effect perfomance.

Shouldn't make that much of a noticable difference if the tires have the same outer diameter A super-thin walled tire will have little to no flex, so you'll be spinning the tires alot more, and wheel hop will become your new best friend.

I've 20"s but not 19". IMO 18" is the biggest anyone with a stang should go.

I was thinking of doing a 19" out back and an 18" up front, but that might be a bit too drastic. I'll keep to my 18" and 17" combo.

The difference is in the weight of the wheels. 18s are considerably heavier than 16s. Not only does the extra weight of the wheel effect the overall weight of the car (by increasing it and requiring more power to get it going), the extra rotational weight of the rear wheels provides more rotating inertia to overcome, again negatively effect acceleration.

Will you notice a huge difference going from 16 to 17 wheels? Eh, probably not...but as changes get more radical (say, in the fox world, 15s up to 18s) you can notice a pretty major slow down.

As far as I know
they only make cobras in 18s and 20s

you'll rarely see a 19 inch rim made because it's more difficult to manufacture than an even sized rim.

i disagree with some of the above statements. I went from my stock 16's to 18's. The outside dia is about the same as my stock waffles because i have lower profile tires on my 18's. For weight, my aluminum 18's are about just as heavy as my stock waffles, possibly a bit lighter. Ive never had a problem with hopping, and the increased size of my rears(295) more than compansated for the small sidewall. But 19's......for those to be the same outside dia. You would need some rubberbands as tires, and it would look like your ridin on the rim lol.

I think the people who think 19's look bad on our cars have never seen a set of 19" HREs or 3pc Racing Harts on one

+1
I've seen 19s...
they look good, I can't argue. but i've seen 20s. and

so long as it's not a multi-spoke rim, 19s look okay.

20's on anything 2005's and older is plain DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!! Even then only some of the 05+'s can pull 20's off.

I don't think anything over 18'' belong on any stang older than '04.

JMHO though
