That they woudln't mind loaning out for a weekend, specifically Oct 22-24th? I'm going out to Vegas for the Buffett concert and don't feel like getting pulled over on the way. I don't have the money to buy one for myself right now, but I'd be happy to give you a rental fee and deposit, especially for a high end escort or V1.

This is what I use:

PNI Corp Silver Bullet

Has worked great for me and you are welcome to use it if you would like. Not an Escort or V1 but I get less false signals than my old Escort and it only cost me $69.00 at Costco.

I don't want a cheap detector. I want a good one, and can't afford a good one right now.

Did you find a radar detector yet? You can borrow mine I guess, I'm going to get a new anyhow. Maybe I'll sell it to you cheap later too!!
It's not top of the line, it's a Cobra but it has got me out of MANY tickets. If you can't find better, you can use mine.

Joe, read up about this detector and I gotta say I'm impressed.

How long ago did you get yours? Costco's website doesn't list them and everywhere I looked online was at least $100 for them.

Might be worth buying one of these.

Ya went the same route I did. Saw them at Costco in Oxnard, never heard of them, went home and researched, saw good things and even better that the price was outrageous, so went ahead and bought one for trial. Have been satisfied over and over again.

Saved my arse on lunch yesterday as we have a motorcylce cop that hides behind the trees here at work and nails everyone. Took of like a bat out of hell and heard BEEEEP. So let of the gas immediatley and there he was about a 1/4 mile down the road shooting the guy in front of me. If not for that I probably would have gotten a 65 in 35 ticket.

They are not on the web site but I will try to swing in Costco tonight to see if they have any. Shoot me your number and I'll call you if they do.

Joe, if you go by Costco and they have one, pick one up for me and I'll bring you the cash, I have a Sams card not a Costco I'm wanting to go wireless now because I'm sick of that damn cord.

Guess I need to go pick up another for the Sentra and Jeep. Have you ran it side by side with your current one to gage performance?

I almost picked up one a few weeks back... glad I didn't since I'm about to quit my job and focus on school for a bit.
