Anyone have the dry nitrous set up? Any suggestions when installing?

Which side should I put it on in the trunk? I think the driver's side right? for weight balance? I mean when you hit the gas, the pass side rear goes down..(I think).

Any pitfals? Thanks.

well i mounted mine on the passenger side. doesnt really matter anyway. theres not gonna be enough weight transfer to need a 10 lb bottle of nitrous on the driver side. the reason i mounted mine there was i have my battery in the trunk and it was already on the driver side.

thanks.. no it wasnt hard. it is just mounted to my cardboard tire cover thingy. lmao.. i put the mounts on the bottle where i wanted them. then i set the bottle at the angle i wanted. drilled the holes in the liner. removed the brackets from the bottle. took 2 pieces of flat metal and drilled the holes in them to match the holes in the liner. and placed the pieces from the front holes to the back holes. not across.


kinda choppy drawing but better than guessing.
the 0's are the holes and the ------ is metal.

over time if you dont use the metal, the liner becomes weak and will break.

just as question is your setup legal for the track since i know that the bottle needs to be mounted to metal for track regulations

my car was teched before the nitrous install.. so i'm not sure. if that the case then you might have to put it on the driver side due to gas tank.. but i dont see it being a problem..
