I have the idle adjustment plate on my car. The other day I had to take it off. Now I don't remember how it goes back in. Does the side with the smaller hole go on the side with the engine or the fender side?

Look at it closely and I think you can figure it out. It has to be configured so that as you open the allen head screws, more air can pass from upstream of the throttle blade to downstream of the throttle blade. I used to have one on mine - but sold it.

The allen heads go towards the passenger side fender.

The plate has two allen holes. One points upward toward the hood and other one is pointing down toward the lower intake manifold.
Another way you could tell is the "dirty" hole goes toward the intake.

Position of the allen heads has jogged my memory - I agree - one faced up - 12 o'clock; one faced down towards the upper/lower intake interface.

Thanks for your help guys. I think I put it on wrong. Do you use gasket sealer on them?

If you look at this picture, the side that is on the top is the side I put facing to the intake. Is that right?
