a company called pro motion powertrain offers a clutch called the super king cobra and im just wondering if anyone has ever heard of it before or if anyone has used one. im lookin into gettin a new clutch and i just need opinions. thanks in advance
I had a Anderson Ford Motor sports super king cobra it worked great. lighter petal and just felt better then my FMS king cobra and held more power I bet their the same. Here are some pictures of it

Anyway, Pro-Motion is a reputable company and deals with quite a few NMRA racers that run manual trannys. Mybe call them to see what the difference is. Afterall the FRPP KC is indeed just the FRPP kit with a different Pressure Plate.
ok thanks guys. i just got a new one for my b day. came in today. i didnt even know it was comin. i think its a RAM but im not sure. and btw i have the KC now and its shot. had it for about 2 yrs
I've been beating my KC clutch now for 3 years and it hasn't started slipping yet. The clutch pedel is so god awful heavy though....going from my Merkur to the 'stang is unbelievable. I've driven a 5 speed most of my life but i literally stall one or the other when i first switch between the two because the Merkur lets out way up top and is super super light and the 'stang lets out real low and is heavy as hell.
^ well my king cobra has been on for about two years now and i have beat the **** outta it too. there is very little pedal left. its adjusted as far as it can go and its all the way at the top with about a 1/4 inch left in it. it doesnt pull as hard anymore either
Yeah mine is adjusted as far as it'll go too but it still lets out pretty low. My next clutch is probably going to be a RAM clutch. My buddy has one in his GT and the pedel is comparable to a stock clutch and it grabs like crazy.
My KC grabbed pretty low, but that's how I set it up and preferred it. I dunno, I honestly kinda like the way the clutch grabs in my HARBL. The KC will BEGIN to grab close to the floor, but it won't fully engage until it's almost fully released; the HARBL will start catching and fully engage maybe an inch later. Of course, there's also a huge difference in torque between the two, so what it takes to make a 47-horsepower motor's clutch grab is probably a lot less than that of a motor with literally 4x more HP being thrown at it.
