Just got a 2001 GT with 35,000. It's a Roush and it has the side exit exhaust system. After arriving home I was just listening to it idle and it was making a very slight and almost unnoticible "hiccup" or "miss"...about every 10-15 seconds. Almost like a small "Burp" coming from the exhaust tip. Like I said, it is very slight. Is this something to worry about? Thanks in advance...I'm new here.

I wouldn't worry but it wouldn't hurt to pull the plugs, inspect and re-gap them.
Welcome to the club!

run a half bottle of seafoam through her, then change plugs, clean IAC, clean MAF sensor.

though im sure a burp is alot better than a high pitched whistle cause theres a burr from the idiots who did my exhaust and didnt sand down the inside of a pipe and its way inside there.

its probably just some raw fuel in the exhaust igniting... it probably just takes 10-15 secs for enough to build up to make anynoise.... most cars have a little hiccup every now and then if they are modified and dont have a tune....

Ok...Thanks alot for the advice. I'll check all those sensors and what not. If that doesn't work, i'll try using some of that "seafoam" product. It seems to be highly appraised. we'll see.
