Anyone in SW Florida notice this..

Lee/Collier counties to be more specific.Have you noticed the huge increase in rice rockets / fart pipe cars on the road in the past year? There are so many of those dipsh@ts out.The scenario is this...I'm stuck driving in slow ass traffic on the way home from work when some fart pipe Honda with a sticker kit goes blasting by cutting in and out suddenly, obviously trying to get around every car with the smallest possible space..Then along comes a Miata hauling ass following the rice rocket.And all along while riding the cars ass in front of them.Then about 5 minutes later some sh@t in a Mitsubishi 3000gt with a coffee can muffler comes blasting by and cuts right in front of me forcing me to hit the brakes hard.Bastard! He left maybe 2 feet of space from the front of my car.This bullsh@t is goin on allmost constantly now.It wasm't as bad a year ago.Now I see this crap nearly everyday.And the worst part is...they get away with it ......or cause a wreck because the person in front of them hit their brakes hard.............Now,I'm not one for street racing..and I don't condone it...but lately I've been tempted to "teach one of them a lesson in eatin dirt" .Little sh@ts! Yeah...I say that because every time I look..its some young snot blasting his bass or revving the fart machine.........ahh....had to rant for a bit

Perhaps it's all over and not just here.I've lived in Lee county since april of '97 and everything was cool untill about a year and a half ago......
... Funny thing is..I had been contemplating about trading my daily driver for an Acura (Save my 5.0 of course) just because of the high ass gas prices .But I'm so fed up with all these fart can cars.I cringe just thinking about owning a Honda or the like.Not to mention the insurance rates are up quite a bit around here just because of vehicle break-in's and grand theft strictly towards imports.I don't know what it is with 4 cyl. imports.They put fart pipes..CAI's ...rims...and stickers all over their cars and they think it's a Lambo or GT500 and they're racing all over blowin in and out of traffic.All because of Fast and the furious movie types.God knows

I think it's all over. I vacation in Ft. Myers every year, and have considered moving there on several occasions, after looking at home prices in Cape Coral. I think that area is just getting overwhelmed by a younger crowd whose parents are moving there from the midwest, and unfortunately for you guys (fortunately for us midwesterners ), they're bringing the rice mentality with them.
