I am looking at purchasing the CDC side exhaust for my car. I have a few questions.
Does anyone know how much a body shop tipically charges to paint and install the side skirts?

Will the pant change colors from the heat of the exhaust tip?

Anyone have any other comments that will help me make a decision?

Thanks, and heres the link to the exhaust.

They look badass, sound great. Subframe connectors have to be modified, you may have a problem getting the car on a lift, drive thru car washes can damage them(hitting). HTH

i've heard nothing but good things about CDC. as for the subframes, I think spintech sells stepped SFC to fit with the exhaust pipes.

I got "paint only" quotes from $300-600 for the 6 pieces. Call CDC..they will tell you what they charge to paint/install. You'll have a rough idea of costs involved. I looked into this in 2002. The parts/paint/staged subframes + installation ran about $2300. The issue of too close to the ground rattled my cage...a lot of pot holes + speed bumps in my area and I use an automatic car wash 2X a year. Also, installed on a convert...the exhaust note is in your ear(but I could live with that). These are my reasons for passing on this mod.
Anyway,they do look great,CDC is a quality company(parts/service,customer service).If you do get them..good luck,enjoy...I'm jealous.
