I would like to have my stock dizzy checked and rebuilt. I have heard that our dizzys are pretty good. don't want to take a chance on aftermarket.

Please let me know. thanks

I will agree that the aftermarkets suck! I personally know myself, stick with the OEM on the dizzy.

If its not broken there is no need to fix it. for the money you pay for a rebuild, you could buy a refurbished one from autozone for less than 75 bucks.

I'm using an MSD pro billet with no problems

The ones you get from the parts store still have the same old PIP in them, it looks like they just clean them and box them back up for sale.

So... I decided to rebuild one because I could come out with a dizzy that was cheaper and better than the store offerings. Rebuilding it was a PITA the first time around, I broke a couple of distributors when I was 'learning' how to do it. Not something I recommend doing, unless you have some practice distributors to break.
