If you're not in a rush you could look in the classifieds for awhile. I found mine brand new for $400 shipped. Cheapest place would probably be something like summit, plus they'll price match most advertised prices and ship for free.

you can get TFS intakes on Ebay brand new for like $360 or something. They flow very similarly and look better in my opinion.

I have an Edelbrock Performer RPM for sale if anyone is interested. The lower has been ported/cleaned up to match a Cobra lower and the upper has some port/cleaning as well. I also have the 94-95 intake elbow and a brand new 70mm t-body. I also have ARP upper and lower intake bolts. I'm trying to sell everything and not looking to split it up. $575 plus shipping

The t-body, and elbow are bolted to the upper so you don't need any gaskets.

I hate to tell you man but the Cobra Lower will never match the RPM, the ports are totally different.

I see you're in NY, if you want to make a drive down to raceway park in englishtown April 16-18, they have their semi-annual swap meet. It's a huge meet and there's always tons of used and new mustang stuff. If you don't find a cheap used manifold there, you'd definitely find a new one for as cheap as you could find it anywhere else, and you can try to haggle since there are so many places right there competing for your business.

I thought that the GT40 lower's ports are staggered while the RPM's are straight?

The cheapest place to buy a brand new Performer is Wynnespeed for $455, just check the Mustang mags, they usually have a two page add. I bought mine through Summit and had them price match it.

That's funny, because if you look at ANY lower intake where it mounts to the heads they all have square ports. Which is what I was refering to.

Still, this comment makes no sense...

A Cobra lowers' ports are smaller than an Edelbrock RPM/Performer lower.

Just a fair warning, I've had two bad experiences with Powered by Ford. Both times they overcharged my credit card.

Thanks everybody for all the help. I've gotten stuff from Summit a few times and never knew that they price matched.

I just went to the Summit Racing site and this is what it says.

"We're confident our prices are the lowest. We're so confident, we offer the Beat-a-Price guarantee:

We'll beat any price on a part, advertised in a magazine in which Summit advertises, as long as the part is from the same manufacturer and has the same part number. It must also be in stock when you place your order.

All Internet sites are eligible for Beat-A-price approval with the exception of E-bay. All prices will be verified.

If the product meets the above criteria, the competitor's price will be beat. Guaranteed!"

You probably have to call them and put the order in so they can verify if the company has it in stock and then match the price.
