my voltage on my tps reads 1.3 at idle i think, and it still reads 1.3 at WOT so i know thats shot and it is already getting taken care of , which one very nice guy decided to hlep me out with on here, but anyways which problems would that induce with the running of my car, recently it has been getting worse with when i put it down it would rev up for a second and then go , I took it to a transmission shop that is very relieable and they said it had nothing to do with tranny so i took it to a mustang guru in town and he tested the tps and says its that because at wot his reads like 4 or so, and he also said its not in the shifting it wont get enough rpm's to get to the shift unless u let off gas and then get on it lightly. They already tested the fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator so its not those so could the whole problem just be in the TPS?

It'll cost you around $50 for a new TPS to find out. My stang just up and died one day and ran like crap after that until I replaced the TPS. Measured both resistance and voltage on the TPS. Resistance did not show anything throughout the range of the sweep of the throttle body. But, when I reconnected the connector and measured voltage it had a definate dead spot somewhere in the middle of the sweep.

yeah i am in the process of try a tps a guy sent me a whole throttle body for free so that was a freebee which im thankful for. but yea im gonna try that for now if its not that i dont have any money to fix it so ill be screwed for a little while. i hope thats the problem?
