Anyone out there have Corbeau CR1 seats?

I have them, and I love them. There are many positives and negatives to them, however. I'll get the bad stuff out of the way- what kind of work do you do? If you get into your car dusty, like any kind of wood tradesman, keeping them clean will be a PITA. The material grabs everything, and doesn't let go. Also, they are form fitting. This is an awsome feature, but it usually means nobody else is comfortable in them- like wearing someone else's shoes. Also, they are made specifically for MEN with a 32-34 inch waste. If you are any smaller having them will be pointless, and any larger and you won't fit. Most woman, even petite ones, find that thier hips don't fit comfortably. If your girl has an hourglass shape, she's going to hate them. Now, if her hips are under 30", she'll be fine. Moving on- they are not for short people. Interjection here: you have to get the Corbeau full seat brackets with sliders! They are expensive, but are very well made, and are the only way you will get the seat the right height. The adaptors aren't good enough, they raise the seat and you won't be able to fit your legs between the seat and the wheel. Back to short people- even with the seat pulled all the way forward, they won't be able to reach the pedals. I'm 6', they are perfect. My wife, @5'7", can drive the car, but not very comfortably. My sister in law, @5'2", needs blocks and pillows. Good stuff:
I have tinted windows, which may help, but in two years I haven't observed any fading and I have the black ones. These seats look even better in person than they do in pictures, and I get more comments on them from complete strangers than any other part of my car, which gets a lot of attention to say the least. They were pretty hard for the first few weeks, but once they fitted themselves to my ass, they are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. They hold you in place unbelieveably well, I had to get them because after over $4000 of MaximumMotorsports suspension work, the only thing moving in the curves was me. Not anymore, these are the ultimate compromise between a full race seat and a daily driver. The sliders work super smooth and are way more solid than stock. The material doesn't get hot in the summer, and warms up real fast in the winter with just a little body heat. I also have the Coreau three point double release harnesses, and they are pretty good. Fairly comfortable, well made, great looking, but they aren't application specific which leads to some problems. It's hard to get the lap belt adjusted to be centered on the passenger seat, which is kindof irritating. Other than that, no complaints. They compliment the seats nicely, and hold you in place even better. The double release is great for retaining the rear seat, which I have, because it allows you to unhook it in back so people don't have to climb through the belts to get in. I carry three passengers on a regular basis, and have had no problems with this arrangement. Highly recommended, if you fit the criteria. Good luck!
