I'm experimenting with different locations.This shot has one 6' string under the nose.And one 6' string under the hood, against the firewall.

I have not, but I was thinking of using them for lighting in the interior. Like in the foot areas, dimmable ones for mood lighting. I do use an orange string in the cowl for a shift light.

I haven't seen that done since the late 1990's.

Personally I'm not a fan, although I love ambient lighting inside a vehicle. My Taurus has this feature from the factory and I usually have it set to blue.

Funny thing you mentioned interior lighting.This morning I have run another 6' string under the dash,to give some indirect lighting on the foot-wells.

Yeah, I have to agree.
I think it's border line criminal in anything other than a Honda civic.

The interior ambient lighting is less bad, but still not even close to period correct.
