Anyone running this belt size?

I have all stock pullies now on the car. But I changed the tenisoner pulley and put an 85.5 in. belt on. I was told to get a 85 but it wouldn't fit and the 85.5 fit with some work. I am not running the smog pump anymore due to the pulley going bad. So anyone else delete the smog pump and are running the 85.5? I just want to make sure I'm not the only one.

as long as it fits ok without signs of slipping you are good. My car has a smog delete and it runs an 84.5 belt.I used an 85.5 before that and it squealed whenever it got damp.

I tried to get the 85 in. belt and no way was that going on. Maybe the 3G alt pulley is slightly bigger?

The smaller belt routes different than the stock setup, I poked around on here and found the diagram, make sure you changed the routing along with the belt...

i deleted my smog pump and could only get a 86in belt in mine. i couldnt understand why i couldnt use a shorter belt.

mine squeals for the first couple miles now. But no way can I get another belt on.

Hey thanks man. I found this the other night when I put the belt on, As you could see it said 84.5, and the smallest I could fit on was a 85.5.
