I saw these on ebay and the price is right. Plus I am close enough that I wont have to pay for shipping. Has anyone ever used these before or know someone who has? I dont need great handling tires or tires with snow tread. just something that will keep me on the road and not be shot after 10,000 miles. Anyone running these? What do you think??

I'm in BAD need of some tires so I need to make a decision quick!

How many miles did you get out of them? That's the one thing I am afraid of. I have Nitto D/R's for the track I just need some street tires...

I had a set of these tires a while back. The grip was semi decent. The only thing i hated about them was they didnt last very long. Even the front ones.....Look into some firestones. There the best tires ive ever owned!

If i remember right i got a little under 13,000 miles. Which to me seems to be a bit on the low side. I think the ones you are looking at had a tire wear rating of 380. The higher the number the longer they last. But the higher the number the more you lose in grip for the most part cause the tire is not as soft...... Check out tirerack.com

I absolutely LOVE them... I bought my AFS wheels and they came with them... I had never heard of them before and figured I couldn't get a better deal locally so I bought them pre-mounted.

I race at the drag strip quite often and they like heat, but they grab very well for a street tire. They kinda suck in the winter, but I try not to drive my stang when it's icy out.

I had G-Force KDWs before these and they were a little better for traction, but they wore very fast. My essenza's still have a lot of tread on them for the abuse they have been through. TWO thumbs up!

I wish I could tell you how many miles I have on them... but I can't as my speedo is off... I can tell you that my car was a daily driver all of last summer and was at the track every other w/e then drove part of the winter til my rearend went out.... I drove most of the spring again as my daily driver. When I moved I started driving to work 25 miles one way.

Here's a post I made back on June 30th which was the day I bolted them on:

My 13.05 in my signature is on these tires. I pulled 1.95-2.03 60fts with a stock torque converter consistantly. I fully plan to buy them again for daily drivers when they wear out.
