I used to have one in my first 94... it was the top of the line one.... and frankly, as far as how it felt in my hand, I'd rather use the stock black 94-98 knob anyday.

Sorry John .... looking back, I didn't even read the thread right. I thought you were inquiring on the "shifter" .... which I'm sure you've already taken care of.

FWIW, I use the 03 Cobra knob with a 5 speed pattern. It took a little to get used to because the stocker was a little smaller. But I'd never go back. After adapting, I love it.

And diablo, that thing looks like a big light bulb, lol.

I think that's where I got it. Maybe it was LRS. They also have a carbon fiber version, if you're into that theme.

EDIT: Just looked @ LRS and they are cheaper. They also have a ton of other ones. They don't link too well. Just go to their site and use the search thingy. Click Mustang & type "shift". You'll get 10 pages of stuff.

I had the Gripper knob from UPR that is the same as the MGW, and personally, I didnt like it. Matter of fact, I took my 35th knob off and have a stock leather GT knob and its amazing. Keep the stocker. The MGW gets hot as crap in the summer.

Got a manual 4R70W on the way. I thought for years which direction I wanted to go with, and decided on this.
