Anyone with Pirelli's, I have a ?

Ok I just bought 2 used Pirelli Asimmetrico's with 100 miles on them for a great price. I have a question for anyone that has them. Are they all made with the same tread or do they make ones for the left side and the right side? If I put the 2 sides that say exterior facing out, the diamond shaped part of the tread is facing different way on both sides? If anyone can let me know if this is how they are supposed to be that would be great.

Look for some other marking that indicates direction of rotation. Usually I see an arrow that indicates that, if required.

I just read where they are supposed to look backwards, that's the way they're designed. If anyone has them on their car and can confirm let me know. Thanks
