Anything you would change with this combo? This is the 89 vert

trickflow twisted wedge heads
streat heat intake
1.6 rockers
tfs stage 1 cam
70 mm tb/egr
pro-m calibrated for 24's
crome c.a.i.
Huge sticker that says nos and a zex purge kit(i figure with a 75 shot plus the sticker... 125? 150?)
blue led to light up the purge cloud.... hot.... sexy... wrong
BBK Shortys with matching high flow cat-pipe
transgo shift kit
2800 stall
smoking hot babe
kenwood 800w max 5 channel amp to power the factory speakers
8 inch bazooka sub for the trunk

Thats funny that the intake would be the choker. Anyway, this is a new stang i just picked up off of ebay. Pretty sweet, so now I have 2 89 verts. lol. So everything in the list is real cept for the nos sticker and the babe. Thanks for the advice guys

Anyway I am pretty stocked cuz I was looking to pick up a h/c/i used on the cheap... :), this way I got a whole car.

Actually, I am thinking of selling the cheater suace, shorties, and h-pipe, picking me up a custom fti cam, long tubes, and a track heat... what do you think... oh and the smoking hot babe.... sorry I am ugly...

Heavy vert + AOD = lethargic down low with too much cam; I'd leave the stock HO cam in it -- IF (big if) you're using the car on the street. Hard to help counsel you on the combo if you don't tell us how you're using the car and what you expect from it.

Whatever you do -- add subframe connectors first -- ESPECIALLY for the 'limp pasta' unibody of the verts....

Thanks I was stoked on the price... I am just stoked. The plan when I bought it was to strip it of its heads cam and intake and throw them on my other 89 with the t-5. I would then rebuild both motors and sell the aod equiped stang. But now my fiance magically wants this new one:nice: . Now, this new car has way less rattles and squeaks than my other... so I am thinking of taking all of my suspension mods off the old and throwing it on the new. I would have to get subframes for the new one tho as I dont think it has them. I have not been able to get under it because I am suffering from whiplash. I dont know what is going to happen, but I do know I will have the trickflow topend on my t-5 equiped stang, but with a custom cam. Anyway the car rides nice(I have yet to drive it, just been on a ride in it) and seems quick enough, but my dad says my stock 89 seems quicker(he was nice enough to pick it up for me:hail2: ).

So in light of the new evidence, both cars, what would you guys do. This will be a daily driver, and I am not a huge fan of the dragstrip, the twisties are more my style so I will compete in 1 or 2 autocross events for fun a year. Thanks guys... its boring not being able to leave the house.

Happy Holidays to all!!

Edit: Mr. Yount, thank you for the advice on the subframes. A must for all verts in my opinion
