My buddy has been having trans issues he has been through 3 AOD transmission all replaced under warranty
But it never shifted into 3rd or 4th. The 1st one stopped working after about 4 mile and when we took the pan off it look like mud inside. the 2nd one I persuaded him to put a non lockup Lentech converter I had in it. This time it worked great for about 20 mile then it wouldn't shift into 3rd or 4th. so it was pulled and rebuilt again this time he put his old converter back in (TCI Saturday night lock up) No it was back to not shifting into 3rd or 4th
Now he is fight with the guy who built the trans about getting a new valve body built.
So I gave him a valve body I had while there I made him put a TV cable in.
But I noticed that the new cable was on an angle going to the Throttle body not straight.
But I also noticed that he isn't running an EGR spacer i think that is whats causing the angle of the cable problem
So it not getting the right adjustment.
What do you guys think...
