Well The car finally runs and drives, although of course it has some issues. The last thing left to figure out is the AOD. Ill try and describe the problems and maybe you guys can provide some insight. The car goes into gear fine, and accelerates smoothly. Reverse,1st and 2nd have no problems. If I stick it in drive the car stays in 1st and wont shift. If I drive it in second and get it going (4,000 RPMS) and let off the gas, it feels like it instantly drops the power. If I hit the gas, I have to rev it pretty high for the tranny to re-engage.

I believe I have checked everything; fluid is perfect, I just changed the filter and gasket. No leaks at all. The TV cable seems to be perfect. I was told that I dont need to install the speed sensor, so that is no hooked up. Could that be the problem? Also, the manual says that the transmission has a vacuum modulator, but I can't find one anywhere. Does it have one and if so, where? I thought the TV cable controlled all of that? Well any advice is greatly appreciated guys! Thanks, -Ryan

There is no vacuum modulator on the AOD everything is controlled from the TV cable.

I have never experienced the problems that you are so I can't really point you in a direction but if no one else has any insight you might want to post the problem over on www.clickclickracing.com forums and see what some of the guys there have to say. There are a few guys in there that are rebuild and modify transmissions as their jobs and have some great insight and ideas.
