Hey guys, just put an AOD in the 68, and guess what? yeah.....intermediate clutch failure and i think a snap-ring also.
What are you guys using for rebuild kits as far as clutches etc. to rebuild the tranny?? my 289 is ~300 HP and I've got a shift kit with the "epoxy mod" on the VB.
I'm not liking the idea of shelling out 700 for a kit, but I want something a leap up from stock so this doesnt happen again.
i was looking at this:

just put the shift kit in, so everything down below is new, I'm pretty much just looking for the internals.
