This is my first time driving with the stall. The 1-2 shift is at ~2700. The 2-3 shift is slightly higher at ~2900. Is that right? Maybe I'm just not used to a stalled car. How the hell do you drive around with these things, lol?

I have a 3000 9.5" non lock and it shift like this (leaving it in drive and it shifting on its own):
At normal take off 1 to 2 is 4200rpm and 2 to 3 is 5000 rpm
At WOT 1 to 2 5500 rpm and 2 to3 6000 rpm.
You should shift higher , is your tranny oil level correct ??
Do you have a shift kit.
Try appling your brake( use line lock if you have it) running up your stall just before the tires break lose( which should be around 1800 rpm ) then just floor it this is called flashing , it should shift higher then what your shifting at now.
Good luck !!!!

I should be shifting higher?! Whoa.. I'm kind of glad I'm not. How the hell do you drive around with those shift points?

I believe myroc is talking about wot. Did you adjust your TV cable after installing the convertor. The TV cable controls part throttle shift points.

Yes, I had it professionally done. Now that I am used to driving it a little more, the 1-2 is ~3000, 2-3 a little higher (light to light not jammin').
