AODE to AOD in sn95 swap

Has anyone replaced their AODE with a AOD in a sn95 car?

I found a built AOD that is a good deal, and wondering how different the swap would be? I know you would have to run a TV cable to the AOD. So, would that require using a Fox body TB as well? And what else... the shift pattern is OD-D, not just D....?

If anyone has some information on this swap specifically please let me know, thank you!

Well, I know the answer to your question about shift pattern. The AOD-E are electronic, so a button turns the overdrive on and off, but on the AOD, there are two different shift positions for overdrive and just drive. Hope that helps.

I asked this same question last week and didnt get a single response. I am in the exact same situation as you, I can get a great deal on a built stalled AOD but I am unsure if it will even work or how much work it would be. Hopefully someone replies that can help cause IM curious too.

I would imagine you would need a 5-speed computer or a tweecer to stop the computer from trying to shift the trans, then do whatever everyone does for a C4 swap.
