Can anyone top this? I was getting on the highway today - rush hour traffic at a dead stop. And as I'm easing off the ramp and into the lane, something catches my eye...a couple lanes over there is this van full of what looked like a bunch of young guys and they are all looking my direction (at my Jade) and clapping! At first I wondered what the heck they were doing and then it registered - ovation for my girl I'm a very proud mommy, indeed!

That's great! I know exactly how you feel. I'm statoned in Germany and The Germans break thier neck looking at my car. It's funny because I'm usually breaking my neck looking at thiers. It's a good feeling to have a guy in an $80,000.00 car give you the thumbs up.

I was at an intersection stoped at a light. Going the opossite direction a guy in a 98ish BMW 7 series gave me a thumbs up as he was going past.

While filling up with gas one day a guy just walked up to me and was like "Wow, thats beautiful." And from there we just started talking for a bit.

Here in England I get a lot of great comments but the best was stuck in traffic on the M25, and a guy was taking pictures of it while next to me with his phone camera! Guess that's why they call it a "poser" car here - and I love it!

Where are you stationed at, I'm around the K-town area, I've only seen a couple GT's running around. It'd be cool to meet some other enthusiasts in the area. ( My frau just doesn't get it)

I've had people stop me at gas stations that would congratulate me then feel the need to tell me the entire history of Mustang muscle that led up to this car. Don't get me wrong, I love talking to these guys, just not when I'm running late (again).

The cool thing is on the high way during rush hour. I can see cars cutting people off from 2 lanes over to get behind my car, then pull up next to me and give me a thumbs up. It's pretty cool when a guy in S500 is giving me the thumbs up.
