We just put some 325's on my wife gt and let me tell you. Her car looks and feels great with those 17x10.5's back there.

315's are worth it yes. Cost more since they probably will be DR's at that size. but definitely better traction, not to mention looking damn good

What about regular 315's, not D/R's, for a 50 mile a day Daily Driver? D/R's for 250 miles a week doesn't seem like a good idea.

I have been looking at new wheels, but afraid 315s are too wide so now im thinking 18" with 285 in back and 255 up front...

^ too wide??? Is that possable LOL. Well anyways I love my 285s, they helped traction a bunch but I can still light them up in 1st and hold about 4K in second from a dead stop and a 3K launch. Rolling they spin in 1st and spin when I hit second, and can still chirp 3rd. GET THE 315s, you will not regret it.

another vote for 315's.

If I had the ca$h and thought I could control my burn out habit I would go wider like 325-335's.

Any clearance issues? Like hitting the fender? The tailpipes?

Cool. You have an 04 too. Can you post a pic of how close the inner edge of the tire is to the tail pipe?

I would go for it too but keep in mind also that you will lose a little efficiency(less gas milege), since it takes more power to turn those big @ss wheels(heavier and more friction). Other than off the line traction, you would be slower than the same car with narrower tires. But I see more positives than negatives so...

I have bassani exhaust and it rubbs a little bit on the passenger side but I plan on cutting some excess metal off the gas tank to make room! 315's ar fine for a daily driver! Sumatoma makes a Good Overall tire one tip is to put like 25-30 psi in them or else thes tires will wear in the middle!

Thanks! That helps. I think I will go for 17x10.5 and 315s.

Are you saying you had clearance issues with 315?

Yea With Bassani Exhaust But If I were to cut off the excess metal on my gas tank I could move the exhaust over some more so It wouldn't hit!
