Are front bump stops really necessary?

If you are still using the shock towers, I would. They add structural strength to the tower. I'm surprised you'd spend $2500 on a suspension that's really not needed on a street car, and balk at spending $40 on these brackets.

Thank you! It wasn't $2500, I just use their coil-overs, not the whole set-up. But I live in Russia so the shipping cost drive $40 to $140 (or maybe more - those stops are heavy...)

Yes, you still need the outer shock tower reinforcements and the bump stop in place. Shocks are not designed to take impact loads and will result in damage if the bump stops are not installed.
