Are these wheels light or more on the heavy side?

I believe they are the 99-01 cobra 17 inch wheels.

Heavy, chrome is always gonna make those wheels heavier. There is a wheel chart on a sticky some where, that should tell the weight of those wheels. I think some stockers are 17 lbs maybe more, those would be what, 22 lbs. Just a guess.

They are heavy. I have a set of 98 Cobra rims with DR and they are half the weight.

they are not chrome, just polished aluminum.

Polished and clearcoated.

The polished versions are also pig heavy. Ford has some insane requirements on their OEM wheels dictating an overly thick rim cross-section. Normally, those 01 forged wheels would be lighter than their cast counterparts…but alas that's not the case.
