ported and polished gt40 head
1.7 roller rockers
comp cam
msd 6al
larger fuel pump
injectors
larger throttle body
msd energy coil
koni adj. shocks
steeda drag links
sub-frame connec.
long tube headers
h-pipe
racecraft suspension stuff
msd shift light
pro 5.0 shifter
3.73 gears
bbk cold air
battery in the trunk
i'm sure i'm forgetting some other stuff, but you get the point.

well when i was at tulsa. i was running 26x10 slicks with ten hole rims. At first i blew two lights at around 13.30's. i made 7 passes for the day before my clutch gave up. i broke 12's in 3 passes and my best was 12.55. i wish we had a track closer to home because i need the practice. i bum rushed the tree twice, my reactions times did get better with more passes. i sure was proud hitting 12's on all motor with no power adder's. if only i had a supercharger.. haha... You all should of heard the 93 running with open headers with a cam. i had a smile on my face all day!

don't forget the only reason I ran so fast was suspension.. you could have the baddest motor around, but without distributing the power to the ground your going nowhere. people always forget about stiffening their cars up and just go all motor! and then it feels like slip'n'slide out on the track.. scary stuff!!!!!

Mid-12's pretty good on the slicks...what was your mph? 60ft?

Unless you were bracket racing your time isn't going to vary if you redlight or have a late reaction. The timer doesn't start until your car moves. You could technically sit their for 30 seconds and still run "12.55"...

Traction is key, whether it be by slicks or suspension...

Did you run at the track with open headers?

Yeah, my car was a bit crazy sounding too with my h-pipe undone...

Sounds like you got a nice car, keep it up

I'll be at the track this saturday the 22nd...hope some can come!

thanks... I’ve tried doing bracket racing once, but I had trouble with the dial-in and kept breaking out and couldn't get anybody at the track to help me but what do you expect for mokan's 8th mile crap. I love Tulsa’s track since they completely re-did it.. Its awesome... on the open header law they let me dump with a flex pipe because there rules state that Exhaust gases must be away from driver and fuel system. I did get a yellow inspection sticker because I didn't have my battery with cut-off switch since its mounted in the trunk.

haha what do you want to know? are you going to the midnight drags or test'n'tune? oh ya if you run faster than 13.99 you have to use a snell rated helmet!! i got mine on clearance for 60 bucks at a motorcyle shop! i got a airbrush kit for christmas. i'm thinking about doing something cool with helmet when i get more practice in.
