Hello everyone. Texas member here new to this site but not forums. I have owned many mustangs of all year models. First mustang I had was when I was 15 that was an 87 GT that I sold be for leaving for bootcamp. We always regret the ones we sold in the past and when I had the chance to pick up this 89 GT I could not say no. No set plans with this one, just going with it and building it to whatever comes to mind. So far I have started and almost complete with wiring the chassis and soon start on the engine then onto suspension and drivetrain. Working on body some from time to time between working on electrical and mechanical. I have 2 engines both roller cam 5.0L. First one going in will be stock (may install a small cam) and start off with a holley sniper kit. Once I have this running ill start rebuilding the other engine and most likely stroke it out and build for a pro charger set up. Ill start a build thread later. Stay on the look out if your interested in following it. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has on the site and always looking to learn something new.

Save your cam money for the new engine. There's not much benefit to putting a cam in a Windsor with stock heads.

Toss up some picks when you get a moment and I'll move this to Fox section and make it your [Progress Thread].
