Well I can hit around 250 and some other guys were launching them 300. It is a blast and a good stress release.

i guess i'm hot blooded or something.. but i have to sleep with an overhead fan on (on high) and another fan pointed directly on me.. and my room is the coldest in the house, it has a draft or something.. the cold doesnt seem to bother me too bad

Maybe i'm just cold hearted

Anyways, I got bad news (to start off the thread).

My engine blew today. Overheated (coolant/water froze last night) and didn't allow any coolant flow, before I knew it. Engine shut off and I have no oil pressure. Time for a rebuild I even had the h pipe, clutch, etc...all in...

I'm curious to what actually happened...I'm more worried about my heads than anything...yikies

Well that is my morning rant

That sucks, man. I am sorry.
I seem to remember you stating you were running with no t-stat or something--did that have something to do with your overheating?

Long story The car was overheating with or without a t-stat the same way...weird. Anyways, so I took out the t-stat and it ran really cool which is all I needed for another week or so. Anyways, obviously last night (got in the teens here in temperature) the coolant/water froze in the lower radiator hose possibly? It didn't allow coolant to be pushed in and out. Just in and sit. Well it finally started detonating badly and the engine shut off and I have lost basically all oil pressure. Time to do some research...I can't wait to pull it and see what happens(ed).

This is my only car too

I'm trying to keep good spirits up
