I need some help on the next project. Should I go with an old 30's model car, 60's fastback, or a new cobra? I really need help with this one.

I just ordered lakewood drag shocks and UMI Performance lift bars (I believe its the new SSM). Brian, can you tell me if its better to bolt the lift bars in or weld them. Advantages/Disadvantages ?

I say go oldschool you already have perfect engine for it plus it would be very far from the average "rat rod"

Welding would be more structurally sound. Bolt-in would be easier and cheaper but not so sound. Either way would be sufficient.

So are you talking about upper contral arms?

Those should help you out nicely. More squat is good in the straight line

I dunno, whatever control arms are replaced by the lift bars in the rear. Drag shocks up front.
